Job Description
Primary Function of Position

The Sr Financial Analyst Corporate FP&A is responsible for providing decision-help, insights and financial oversight to the HR and Legal functions. Importantly, this role will be responsible for modeling and forecasting of company benefits programs as well as the financial impacts of legal matters. This position will also partner with the Corporate FP&A team to ensure that Enabling Functions are well positioned to help Company hiring goals.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Develop deep knowledge of key cost drivers within HR and Legal. Partner with business leaders on cost rationalization efforts including discrete purchase decision analysis, helping develop financial / operational metrics, and holding teams accountable to achieving targets.
  • Gain expertise in the full breadth of Intuitive benefits programs and play a central role in partnering between the HR and Accounting organizations.
  • Responsible for financial management of fixed cost, headcount, & capital expenditures for Legal, HR, and benefits. Includes reviewing and approving spend requests and ensuring that accounting is accurate.
  • Drive month-end close including accruals and financial analysis, followed by reporting actual results vs. forecast with business partners.
  • Help short- and long-term financial forecasting, including scenario insights and modeling the impact of business decisions on the future financial trajectory of the HR and Legal functions.
  • Ad hoc decision-support, financial modelling, reporting and insights.
  • Proactively identify and execute continuous process improvements by leveraging best practices, automation, and standardization.
Qualifications
Required Skills and Experience
  • Minimum 3+ years of relevant finance or accounting experience involving budgeting, forecasting, insights, and project management.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to influence, drive consensus, and reach conclusions.
  • Ability to succinctly and accurately present findings to senior management and executive leadership.
  • Effective prioritization skills with the ability to work in a cross-functional, fast-paced environment.
  • Proven statistical skills and high capacity for growth.
  • This role requires working onsite in our Sunnyvale, CA office Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday every week.

Required Education and Training
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics or related field

Preferred Qualifications
  • Proficiency in Excel and SQL. Experience building financial models involving complex formulas and large data sets is a plus.
  • Experience with financial systems such as SAP (ERP), Anaplan, Snowflake, and Tableau is preferred.

Base Salary Range Region 1: $127,800 USD - $183,800 USD
Base Salary Range Region 2: $108,600 USD - $156,200 USD
