Assistant Vice President of Advancement Systems & Reporting (Finance)
1. Leads the Division of Advancement & Alumni Systems & Reporting Department ensuring strategies and services align with the Division and Institution mission, goals and objectives.
2. Directs technology services and projects for the Division while forging strong cooperative partnerships with internal and external constituents.
3. Oversees the different areas of the Division Advancement and Alumni Systems & Reporting Department through directors and managers.
4. Responsible for the establishment and formulation of policies and procedures related to the Advancement information system, reporting and analysis; assesses and addresses system-wide data integrity issues.
5. Oversees, evaluates and forecasts the need for technology support services using industry-standard service delivery metrics and other assessment and reporting tools.
6. Manages special initiatives and projects as assigned, ensuring that implementation supports specified objectives and project activities are appropriately allocated, monitors contracts, costs and schedules.
7. Assesses business requirements, conducts cost analyses, and advises division leadership on strategic technology products and services. Conducts long-range planning for technology support services.
8. Identifies practical applications of new technology and relates technical capabilities to divisional program goals. Serves as a change agent to the division, actively endorsing and supporting change at all levels.
9. Stays abreast of technical changes in systems architecture, programming and software by participating in national and local organizations, studying vendor technical documentation, educational materials and industry publications.
10. Performs other job-related duties as required.
MQ: Requires application of advanced principles, techniques and theory in a professional discipline or thorough general business management knowledge. Knowledge of this level is typically obtained through a directly job-related master's degree or equivalent formal training in a recognized field of specialization that is directly related to the type of work being performed.
Requires a minimum of seven (7) years of directly job-related experience.
