Digital Marketing Strategy Manager

Overview:
The Digital Marketing Strategy Manager will support the Association/Affinity Group Insurance business and be responsible for the development and implementation of digital initiatives, particularly surrounding web/social content and online conversion. The successful candidate will develop revenue-driving digital strategies informed by user insights and engagement data, collaborating with creative and production teams to create innovative, compelling solutions that holistically fulfill conversion optimization efforts and testing scenarios through connected promotional channels.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and Execute Marketing Strategies:

  • Create and execute client-branded marketing strategies aligned with overarching goals and visions driven by Digital Team Lead.
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners and clients to ensure strategies meet business objectives.
  • Work with others to develop and present annual marketing plans, business cases, and budgets to supervisors and partners for approval.

Project and Team Management:

  • Manage one direct report to develop and execute strategies aligned with the annual marketing plan under the guidance of Digital Team Lead.
  • Review project and campaign timelines and marketing materials, manage resources to stay within established SLAs, and ensure the accuracy of materials per legal and compliance requirements.
  • Act as the liaison between marketing and account management/client, relaying relevant information and anticipating and mitigating potential internal/external schedule or resource risks.

Analytics and Reporting:

  • Partner with analytic teams to gather, analyze, and review results and KPIs.
  • Develop and present internal or client reports to inform future projects.

Industry and Market Knowledge:

  • Maintain and grow in-depth knowledge about the industry, clients, and market trends.
  • Identify opportunities and ensure strategic alignment with tactical execution.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 7+ years of experience in web content/marketing management and online conversion
  • Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud or similar digital marketing platforms
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to drive execution
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills; experience managing people preferred
  • Proficiency in using analytics tools such as Tableau, Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, or similar
  • Certifications in SFMC and Google Analytics (or similar) a plus
  • Customer Experience (CX) training/experience preferred
  • Proficiency in using project management tools a plus (e.g., Workfront, Trello, Smartsheet)
  • Familiarity with the insurance industry a plus, especially within the Association/Affinity space, and regulations and compliance requirements

What we offer you:

Prudential is required by state specific laws to include the salary range for this role when hiring a resident in applicable locations. The salary range for this role is from $118,700.00 to $176,600.00. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills.
