.NET Software Developer (Information Technology)

Sierra7 is hiring a .NET Software Developer to join the Enterprise Architecture Support Services team supporting the Veterans Administration. The .NET Software Developers responsibilities include updating current .NET applications, making improvements, fixing bugs, and creating unique and innovative new applications.

Position Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain .NET applications (C#, ASP.NET Core, MVC, Web API)Contribute to solution design and architecture for complex business problemsBuildsecure-by-design applications and ensure data protection and compliance standards are metCollaboratewith cross-functional teams to implement scalable and maintainable solutionsApplydesign thinking principles to translate user needs into functional softwareOptimize systems through automation, orchestration, and performance monitoringImplement and manage integration with cloud environments (Azure, AWS, or GCP)Develop and enforce best practices for infrastructure, networking, and virtualizationMonitorsystem health and troubleshoot production issues proactivelyParticipatein CI/CD pipeline development and DevOps automationSupport all project reporting requirements
