Zynx Health is seeking a Product Owner to join its Product Management team.

The ideal candidate will work closely with product management to guide product development while ensuring business objectives are met. Your day-to-day activities will include facilitating Agile/SCRUM ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives to promote continuous improvement. You will collaborate with product managers, sales, and technical teams to gather and validate user requirements through market research, user interviews, and prototyping. Translating these business needs into a prioritized product backlog with detailed user stories and acceptance criteria will be a key task. Additionally, you will work closely with development teams to evaluate feasibility, monitor project progress, manage risks, resolve blockers, and ensure clear communication with all stakeholders. Regularly engaging in user experience design activities, such as wireframing and user testing, will ensure that the product remains aligned with user needs.

Success in this role is characterized by your ability to effectively prioritize product features and manage the product backlog to deliver high-impact products that meet customer and business goals. You will create a collaborative work environment across cross-functional teams to ensure timely, high-quality product releases. Driving continuous improvement in development processes and maintaining clear, transparent communication with stakeholders will be critical. Your ability to align everyone on product goals and progress will significantly contribute to delivering innovative healthcare technology solutions that enhance patient care and operational efficiency.

This position will be 100% remote.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Facilitate agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, retrospectives, sprint planning)
  • Collaborate with product manager and other cross-functional stakeholders to conduct market research, business process mapping, customer interviews, and industry analysis
  • Validate problems and solutions through wireframing, prototyping, and user testing
  • Translate business requirements into a prioritized product backlog with user stories and acceptance criteria
  • Coordinate with development teams for cost and schedule estimations, feasibility evaluations, and trade-offs
  • Manage development timelines, release plans, and iteration plans
  • Monitor project metrics, manage risks and blockers, and ensure project visibility to management
  • Align responsibilities with business needs and support the product development team as necessary

REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think strategically
  • Ability to prioritize task based on impact/business value
  • Familiarity with software development processes and technologies
  • Ability to manage conflicting priorities and multiple projects simultaneously
  • Self-motivated and able to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment
  • Proficiency In JIRA/Confluence 
  • Adaptability to changing market trends and organizational dynamics
  • Proficiency in Agile/SCRUM methodologies

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

  • 3+ years project management or Agile/SCRUM experience
  • Experience with working with cross-functional and distributed teams is a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to translate user requirements into actionable deliverables

In accordance with applicable law, Hearst is required to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation for this role if hired in Los Angeles, CA. The reasonable estimate, if hired in Los Angeles is $80,000.00 - $100,000.00. Please note this information is specific to those hired in location. If this role is open to candidates outside of location, the salary range would be aligned to that specific location. A final decision on the successful candidate's starting salary will be based on a number of permissible, non-discriminatory factors, including but not limited to skills and experience, training, certifications, and education.
