We are seeking a knowledgeable and proactive Lawncare Supervisor to oversee lawn maintenance operations across 100+ senior living communities. This role is ideal for a strategic leader with a strong background in grounds management and the ability to lead and support multiple crews across a wide geographic area.
Position Overview:The Lawncare Supervisor is responsible for managing a team of Lawncare Crew Leads, ensuring consistent quality, efficiency, and safety in outdoor maintenance across all properties. This role requires strong organizational and leadership skills, frequent travel, and a commitment to excellence in landscape presentation.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and support Lawncare Crew Leads and field teams across multiple communities
Ensure timely and consistent mowing, trimming, weeding, fertilizing, and seasonal clean-up
Conduct routine site visits to inspect grounds and verify quality standards
Develop mowing schedules and ensure timely completion across all regions
Train, mentor, and evaluate crew leads and field staff
Coordinate equipment needs, supply orders, and maintenance schedules
Enforce safety protocols and operational standards
Provide reports and updates to management on project status, staffing, and performance
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED required; landscaping or horticulture certification preferred
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in grounds maintenance, with 2+ years in a supervisory role
Strong knowledge of lawncare practices, pest control, fertilization, and seasonal plant care
Pesticide certification a plus
Valid Driver's License and ability to travel frequently
Strong communication, time management, and leadership skills
Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and lift/carry 50 lbs regularly
