Transfer Credit Analyst (Finance)



Department: Registrar & Student Records Salary: 13.18 Hourly
Description:

Evaluate and enter transfer credits for new, current, and returning students in the student information system.

1. Review transcripts to determine course transferability and assign internal course equivalencies based on university policies.

2. Enter course-by-course transfer credits and test scores; update records each semester as needed.

3. Run and review transcript reports; accurately input data into the system.

4. Notify students of their test credit status and provide related support.

5. Respond to questions regarding transfer credit and student records via phone, email, and in-person interactions with students, advisors, and other administration.

6. Assist in updating and maintaining the university's transfer credit equivalency rules, including adjustments related to program or catalog changes.

7. Support the development and documentation of transfer credit business processes.

8. Track and report statistics related to incoming transcripts to monitor workload trends.

9. Participate in cross-training and assist with student records functions as needed.

10. Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications: (60) semester hours college coursework and (3) years secretarial, clerical, or related administrative support roles or equivalent combination and relevant experience
