Postdoctoral Scholar Research (Finance)



The Division of Surgical Research at Heart Institute, Morsani School of Medicine, University of South Florida is seeking applications for a senior Postdoctoral Research Associate focused on cardiac and vascular cellular electrophysiology. A fully equipped patch clamp laboratory is available in a state-of- the-art facility with access to advanced core resources.(https://health.usf.edu/medicine/heart-institute).Doctoral degree from an accredited institution and appropriate experience and training within a selected area of specialization. Must meet university criteria for appointment to the rank of Postdoctoral Fellow.

Grow Here .Applicants will participate in a research program focused on basic cardiovascular electrophysiology, ion channel trafficking, calcium dynamics, cardiac/vascular cell isolation, fluorescent staining, data analysis and cardiovascular functional recording. Priority will be given to candidates with experience in cellular electrophysiology (single and whole-cell ion channel recording via patch-clamp technique) in endothelial cells, smooth muscle cells and cardiac myocytes. Candidates must possess a PhD and/or MD degree and have relevant postdoctoral research training.
