Academic Services Admin (Finance)



Reporting to the Associate Director, the Academic Services Administrator supports ACGME accreditation by acting as interim Program Administrator, developing best practices, and serving as a liaison between programs and the GME Central Office. The role manages operational and administrative program functions, engages with GMEC subcommittees, and ensures timely communication of outcomes and requirements to stakeholders.This position requires a Master's degree in education or a field of study related to the academic program, or a Bachelor's degree in those same fields with a minimum of two years of experience.

Serve as a member of the accreditation team within the GME Office. Help develop Program Administrator best practices and provide training to programs. Serve as a mentor for both new and current Program Administrators. Provide support to annual program update process and management of accreditation data and dashboards. Utilize New Innovations to review program data and monitor program evaluation systems. Assist with annual Program Administrator and Faculty development events and retreats. Work on special projects related to accreditation when needed.

Float Program Administrator:
\n
Serve as a backup Program Administrator for programs without a Program Administrator for a short duration. Maintain continuity of mission-critical program operations such as evaluations, billing, Annual Program Evaluation, ACGME ADS update, CCC and PEC committee meetings. Serve as a liaison between Program Director, trainees, and GME Office.
\n
Float Department Administrator:
\n
Serve as a backup Academic Services Administrator for the Department during high volume times. Maintain continuity of mission-critical department operations such as credentialing, evaluation reports, and module tracking. Serve as a liaison between Program Leadership and GME Office. Provide support for PA huddle and the Program Administrator Advisory Council (PAAC).
\n
Support for GMEC Subcommittees and Patient Safety Council:
\n
Be the main point of contact for 1 or more GMEC subcommittees and Patient Safety Council. Duties include scheduling meetings, maintaining committee records, planning and executing committee goals, and being the point of contact and liaison with the GME Office. Assist with the coordination of RCAs.
\n
Onboarding & Credentialing Support:
\n
Supports the GME office during annual onboarding process each spring to including offboarding graduating trainees. Duties include monitoring checklists for completion of onboarding requirements and attending GME check-in days.
\n
Assists with credentialing graduates for licensure and job positions. This includes meticulous record keeping and the ability to accurately interpret and report training records to external stakeholders. This includes communication with Residency and Fellowship program leadership across MCOM. Must maintain strict confidentiality with records.
