Group Reservation Coordinator- Conrad Los Angeles (Finance)

In this role as Group Reservation Coordinator, you will be in charge of efficient operation of in-house reservations through the selling of guest rooms and maximization of revenues. Liaises between clients and the hotel team. Acts as main point of contact for group room reservations, performs administrative and inventory work.
The ideal candidate must have a minimum of two (2) years of experience in customer service and one (1) year of experience in hotel front office, sales or reservation. A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Previous experience with Delphi or Hilton OnQ is strongly preferred. Ability to effectively deal with internal and external guests, some of which will require high levels of patience, tact and diplomacy to defuse anger, collect accurate information to resolve conflicts. Basic math skills including the use of a calculator and Excel. Ability to listen and effectively comprehend the English language. Ability to bend, stoop, walk, lift/push/pull up to 20 lbs with or without reasonable accommodation.
What will I be doing?
• Create group masters in OnQ PMS.
• Process and handles group rooming lists and reservations by inputting data into the system.
• Monitors Group Blocks after they have been entered in the system. Updates Group Pickup Report for review and analysis in weekly meetings.
• Ensure Master account includes attrition, meeting room rental, porterage, housekeeping fees, audio visual requests and all other miscellaneous charges before the bill is sent to accounting.
• Attend weekly resume meetings to review blocks and pick-up .
• Attends weekly Revenue Management, Pre-Con, Post-Con and other designated meetings as required as reservations point of contact.
• Monitor/Follow-up on all group cut-off dates. Attend Sales Daily Connect each morning.
• Assist with Consortia & Business Travel reservations as needed.
• Maintain and enter accurate rate and inventory information in Delphi, OnQ R&I, GRO and OnQ PMS and in a timely manner. Maintain / monitor group inventory in CRS.
• Assists with Room Inventory Management & balancing as it relates to group blocks.
• Communicates and verifies information between Meeting Planners, Housing Bureaus, Sales, Events, and Front Office. Audits group reservations for accuracy in OnQ PM. Looks for special requests, coding issues and billing requirements. Ensure that all group room's statistics reports are accurate and consistent.
• Ensure that all revenue management related systems are maintained, including: OnQ RMS, GRO, OnQ PMS, Passkey and Delphi.
• Employ the assistance of the Sales , Front Office, Housekeeping teams as necessary. Provides clerical support and assistance to management as needed.
• Maintain an organized and clean work area and hotel environment.
• Other duties as assigned.

The hourly rate range is $27 - $30 and is based on applicable and specialized experience and location.
