Senior Business Analyst - IT (Project Management)



We are hiring a Senior Business Analyst for our IT Solutions team.

This position can work remotely. The ideal candidate must be within 2 hours of or Neenah WI office.

Summary
The Senior Business Analyst is a highly experienced and influential professional responsible for leading complex business analysis initiatives across multiple IT projects. This role acts as a strategic partner to the business, identifying opportunities for process improvement and technology enablement. The Senior Business Analyst will drive the definition of business solutions, mentor junior BAs, and ensure alignment between business strategy and IT solutions.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities• Lead and manage the entire business analysis effort for large, complex, or strategic IT initiatives. • Serve as a primary liaison between business units, IT, and external vendors, translating complex business needs into technical requirements. • Conduct in-depth analysis of current state processes, identify pain points, and recommend innovative solutions to optimize operations and achieve strategic objectives. • Facilitate and lead workshops, focus groups, and strategic planning sessions with senior stakeholders. • Develop comprehensive business cases, including cost-benefit analysis and ROI projections. • Define and manage project scope, requirements, and deliverables throughout the project lifecycle. • Oversee and guide the creation of detailed functional and non-functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria. • Proactively identify and mitigate risks related to requirements and solution design. • Lead user acceptance testing (UAT) and post-implementation validation. • Mentor, coach, and provide guidance to Business Analyst I and II roles, fostering their professional development. • Contribute to the continuous improvement of business analysis methodologies, tools, and best practices within the IT organization. • Strong understanding of enterprise systems (e.g., ERP, CRM, WMS) and their integration points.

Education & Experience
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Master's degree preferred. • 5-8 years of extensive and progressive experience as a Business Analyst, with a proven track record of leading complex projects. • Expertise in various business analysis methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid) and tools. • Demonstrated ability to influence and negotiate with stakeholders at all levels of an organization. • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills, with the ability to foresee potential issues. • Superior written and verbal communication skills, including presentation and facilitation skills. • Experience in strategic planning and developing long-term IT roadmaps. • Proficiency in enterprise architecture concepts and system integration. • Certifications such as CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional) or PMI-PBA (PMI Professional in Business Analysis) are highly desirable. • Proven leadership and mentoring abilities. Estimated starting annual base salary pay ranges is $100,000.00 - $120,000.00 less applicable withholdings and deductions, paid on a bi-weekly basis. Please note that the actual compensation offered may vary based on relevant factors as determined by the Company, which may include, but is not limited to, location, experience, qualifications, education, skillset, and market conditions. The target base compensation for this role is in the low to middle of the range, with the top of the range reserved for only exceptional circumstances.
