Communications Senior Manager (Project Management)



As the Communications Senior Manager, you will be responsible for managing internal communications for the North America region, including business unit updates, regular and ad-hoc communications, and meeting reviews and presentations. You will work closely with the regional President and Vice President, CORE Services. This role also involves strategizing and supporting employee groups, particularly the regional Employee Experience Team.

The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic organization. You will demonstrate the ability to quickly pivot on strategy and deliverables. You will work independently while keeping cross-functional stakeholders informed based on project requirements. Previous experience in a highly regulated, global environment and PR/marketing agency is a plus. This role offers a broad scope and visibility, and we are looking for someone who can step in and hit the ground running.

Responsibilities:

Internal Communications

  • Work with internal, cross-functional stakeholders to develop the strategic, effective, and timely distribution of communications to meet overall communication and company objectives.
  • Lead the development of all North America internal communication channels, including content.
  • Support the North America President's communications platform for internal/external communication.
  • Ensure all regional communications developed are on message and targeted to appropriate audiences.
  • Monitor and analyze communication metrics to measure the effectiveness of internal campaigns and adjust strategies as needed.
  • Manage expenses to ensure budgets remain within desired projections.
  • Develop and implement internal communication strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives.
  • Create and distribute content for various internal channels, including newsletters, intranet, emails, and internal social media platforms.

Communication Strategy

  • Provide strategic communications counsel to the regional aesthetics function.
  • Understanding of a global, cross-functional organization.
  • Proven track record of consistently setting key performance indicators, measuring and communicating results, and using those results to inform future strategy.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices, continuously improving communication efforts.
  • Serve as a partner to NA marketing and global communication colleagues for regional social media.
  • Support initiatives to enhance employee engagement and promote a positive company culture.

Events

  • Develops and maintains documentation related to operational excellence, including, agendas, decisions/actions, design control documents, design history files, plans, presentations, project charters, status reports, and timelines for assigned projects.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related communications discipline.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years in an internal communications or similar role.
  • 3+ years of experience managing technical or operational projects within a business environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills.
  • Executive presence and comfort working with executive leadership.
  • Presentation development and delivery skills.
  • Proficient in PowerPoint and other presentation platforms and best practices.
  • Experience with digital and internal communication platforms and best practices.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
