M&A - Sr. Corporate Development Analyst (Hybrid - Oak Brook, IL) (Finance)
This role is pivotal in shaping and executing Inspira's M&A strategy in partnership with executive leadership. This Sr. Analyst will play a key role in financial modeling, valuation, pricing negotiation, dealing structure, and managing all aspects of the M&A transaction process. The ideal candidate will bring a robust background of applicable M&A experience from prior investment banking, private equity and/or similar corporate M&A positions, and will demonstrate the ability to drive strategic decisions and transactions from start to finish.
Develop and maintain detailed financial models to support M&A evaluations, including financial projections, valuation analysis, and scenario modeling
Lead the due diligence process for potential acquisitions, including managing the data room and analyzing financial, operational, and strategic information
Collaborate with senior management and external advisors to structure deal terms, financing options, and transaction bid strategies
Provide actionable insights and recommendations based on financial analysis and strategic fit of potential deals, supporting decision-making by senior leadership
Prepare and review transaction-related documentation, including Letters of Intent (LOIs), term sheets, definitive agreements, and other contractual agreements
Work with cross-functional teams to support integration planning and execution following closed transactions
Conduct in-depth market research to identify potential acquisition targets, assess industry trends, and evaluate competitive landscapes
Support Board meetings and various activities related to mergers and acquisitions, integrations and corporate financing efforts
Contribute to the development and improvement of M&A processes, tools, and best practices within the corporate development function
Other duties as assigned
