M&A - Sr. Corporate Development Analyst (Hybrid - Oak Brook, IL) (Finance)



This role is pivotal in shaping and executing Inspira's M&A strategy in partnership with executive leadership. This Sr. Analyst will play a key role in financial modeling, valuation, pricing negotiation, dealing structure, and managing all aspects of the M&A transaction process. The ideal candidate will bring a robust background of applicable M&A experience from prior investment banking, private equity and/or similar corporate M&A positions, and will demonstrate the ability to drive strategic decisions and transactions from start to finish.

  • Develop and maintain detailed financial models to support M&A evaluations, including financial projections, valuation analysis, and scenario modeling
  • Lead the due diligence process for potential acquisitions, including managing the data room and analyzing financial, operational, and strategic information
  • Collaborate with senior management and external advisors to structure deal terms, financing options, and transaction bid strategies
  • Provide actionable insights and recommendations based on financial analysis and strategic fit of potential deals, supporting decision-making by senior leadership
  • Prepare and review transaction-related documentation, including Letters of Intent (LOIs), term sheets, definitive agreements, and other contractual agreements
  • Work with cross-functional teams to support integration planning and execution following closed transactions
  • Conduct in-depth market research to identify potential acquisition targets, assess industry trends, and evaluate competitive landscapes
  • Support Board meetings and various activities related to mergers and acquisitions, integrations and corporate financing efforts
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of M&A processes, tools, and best practices within the corporate development function
  • Other duties as assigned
  • 10% to 15% nationwide travel
  • Typical schedule for this is 8 a.m. CT to 5 p.m. CT
