About the Role

Essity is looking for an experienced Sales Training Manager - Incontinence Care. This role will implement operationally efficient and strategic training activities that drive growth for Essity's US Incontinence Care Sales teams through consistent, best in class sales force readiness strategies and brings value to the sales team and the customer through elevating the knowledge and effectiveness of our sales organization. This is a full-time position and will report directly to the US Medical Sales Training Manager.

The ideal candidate could live in Charlotte, Philadelphia or near a major US international airport and able to travel often within the aligned Essity Regional structure.

What You Will Do

  • Capture and analyze training needs for the US Incontinence Care sales organization, which is focused on solution-based sales of our innovative incontinence care portfolio tailored for healthcare settings and consumers.

  • Lead the development and delivery of targeted training programs, tools, and processes that equip the salesforce to effectively communicate product benefits, address clinical challenges, and position our solutions as best-in-class for incontinence management.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Clinical, Product, and Marketing partners—locally and globally—to design and implement training initiatives that align with go-to-market strategies and ensure consistent articulation of the value proposition across all customer segments.

  • Understand and interpret field needs and business objectives, including perceptions and challenges related to incontinence care, and translate those insights into relevant, engaging, and impactful training experiences that drive sales performance and customer engagement.

  • Develop an annual training calendar with a focus on product knowledge, corporate selling methodologies (HM Move), strategic partners activation, reimbursement insights, and market and competitor insights.

  • Develop and execute methodologies for measuring and tracking A&P investments against improved assessment and deepening knowledge/expertise, leveraging scorecard practices, and holding the team accountable, ensuring continuous learning and improved scores.

  • Ensure compliance in the utilization of all clinical evidence with appropriate Regulatory, Compliance, and Legal partners.

  • Owns the day-to-day management and execution of the Field Sales Trainer training program for the Incontinence Care sales force.

  • Supports the development and curating of educational materials for digital learning programs and in-person training sessions, ensuring seamless delivery to the Incontinence Care Sales team.

  • Manages resources and presents field trainings as needed.

  • Strategically and efficiently manage A&P budget.

  • Customize global programs to meet the needs of the local market.

  • Co-travels with field sellers across the country to support their continuous development (up to 50% travel).

Who You Are

  • Bachelor's degree with Master's degree or higher preferred.

  • Strong training experience – min 10 years leading training.

  • Proficient in Microsoft office suite (Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and ability to work with graphics software.

  • Ability to activate training for all stages of B2B sales cycle.

  • Strong experience in the incontinence care therapy space with a minimum of 10 years working within the healthcare, medical device, or pharmaceutical industry as a trainer, clinician, or sales management professional.

  • Ability to quickly garner respect amongst peers (sales, marketing, finance, distribution and operations).

  • Ability to identify tasks, take initiative and drive for results.

  • Proven problem solver with strong ability to multi-task and handle project deadlines.

  • Demonstrable managerial courage with ability to manage and measure work production.

  • Effective communication, presentation, and collaborative skills.

  • Strong organizational and project management experience.

  • Proven ability to identify new market trends and knowledge of healthcare/government legislation and impact on customers.

  • Experience in converting technical product information to Salesforce and customer relevant benefits.
