Position Summary:

The Senior Technology System Architect is responsible for identifying, defining, facilitating, and supporting information technology strategic initiatives. This includes helping senior leadership to understand, define and conduct these initiatives. While the range of duties and responsibilities is broad and varied, the Senior Technology System Architect will be responsible for assuming a variety of roles and responsibilities to ensure that initiatives are completed successfully, such as defining projects, project management, staff development, application build, as well as mentoring and supporting team members.

  • Architecting Technology solutions to support strategic initiatives
  • ensuring the breadth and scope of initiatives are in alignment with the organizational strategic goals.
  • aligning resources and obtaining buy-in to support and implement initiatives
  • identifying resources and requirements necessary to support such initiatives.
  • understanding and project risks and formulating plans to mitigate
  • Actively engages staff and stakeholders to seek opportunities for continuous improvement of systems and processes, within or outside of the scope of IT.
  • Perform gap assessment on internal processes and provides recommendations and business plans to streamline workflows.
  • Evaluate functionality of patient facing technologies and provide direction for feature/function implementation.
  • Act as a liaison between departments and third-party vendors to identify issues and provide solutions to our organization.
  • Perform project management support functions, including:
  • Meeting scheduling Project Planning Resource allocation Project Status / Tracking with measurable outcome metrics.
  • Understand organizational strategic initiatives to better understand, formulate, and plan solutions collaboratively with other stakeholders.
  • Support existing systems and identify opportunities for improvement within those systems.
  • Assist in implementation of system enhancements as needed, such as:
  • Upgrades Workflow changes Training and communication with end users New software implementations
  • Stays up to date with the healthcare landscape, including competing products and services as well as integrating technologies and processes into the Neighborhealth's ecosystem.
  • Incorporate Neighborhealth's vision, missions, values, and goals into deliverables.
  • Encourage team members to grow professionally and identify or provide mentoring opportunities where appropriate.
  • Articulate and present data, information, and ideas in a clear and concise manner.
  • Support analyst staff and builds implements application solutions where appropriate.
  • Create an environment that encourages diverse opinions, recognizes differences, and incorporates into process and services.
  • Maintain existing industry certifications.

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Information Technology or other relevant field
  • Master's degree in business, Information Technology or other relevant fields.
  • Certification in major Epic Enterprise applications

EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimal 5 years' experience in Technology architecture and technology Project Management

  • Ability to work collaboratively across Neighborhealth's departments and business lines.

  • Effective analytical ability to develop and analyze options, recommend solutions to and solve complex problems and issues.
  • Demonstrated effective managerial and administrative leadership of clinical operations
  • Effective organizational, planning and project management abilities. Experience in financial and programmatic presentations.
  • Ability to function independently and deal with multiple, simultaneous projects.
  • Ability to demonstrate a commitment to quality and excellence. Effective leadership abilities:
