Program Coordinator (Finance)



Who we are:

The Gill Corporation is one of the world's largest manufacturers of honeycomb, high performance floor panels, cargo compartment liners and original equipment for passenger and freighter aircraft. The company also excels in many other types of reinforced plastics including interior sandwich panels for creating structures such as aircraft galleys and bulkheads, honeycomb core and related products.

The Gill Corporation is seeking a Program Coordinator who assists the Program Managers with project scheduling, tracking, change management, and other administrative tasks to ensure successful program execution .

Reporting to the Manager, Program Management, they will perform but not be limited to the following responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for comprehending the Statement of Work and Contract for assigned projects and ensuring that both the Company and the customer remain informed and up to date on relevant topics.
  • With supervision, work with internal departments to draft project plans, risk assessments, action items, milestones, resource requirements and critical path items.
  • Analyze all scope changes relative to baseline plans to identify impacts to schedule, cost, deliverables and risk. Proactively lead the analysis, mitigation plans and negotiated resolution due to scope changes.
  • With supervision, provide a point of customer contact to foster a trusting relationship with coordination of sales and production management. Support communications of project status, reviews, KPIs, metrics, reports, mitigation plans, risks, assertions and negotiations.
  • Track project milestones and drive action items to timely completion among project participants to achieve desired project results.
  • Follow established formal communication procedures to clearly document contractual and technical agreements, status, scope change, assertions, schedule impacts and risks.
  • Assist with the coordination of continuous improvement and cost reduction initiatives.
  • Assist with assessing project risks. Identify and resolve conflicts, elevating to program leadership as appropriate. Support the development of contingency and mitigation plans to complete project deliverables on schedule, on budget and compliant with contractual and technical requirements.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

  • Associates degree
  • Minimum of two (2) years related experience and/or training or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Aerospace background and aircraft interior industry experience preferred.
  • Experience with project management
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task, work in teams, work independently, travel or telecom to achieve milestones, as necessary.
  • Excellent MS Office and MS Project skills.
