Director of Rooms - Hilton Tampa Downtown (Finance)



Job Summary
We are looking for a seasoned Director of Rooms to lead the overall operations of our Rooms Division, which includes Front Office, Housekeeping, and Security. This executive leadership role is responsible for driving guest satisfaction, operational excellence, team performance, and brand compliance. The ideal candidate is a strategic leader and effective communicator who thrives in a dynamic hotel environment and has a strong track record in team development, financial oversight, and interdepartmental collaboration.

What will I be doing?
Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage department heads across Front Office, Housekeeping, and Security to deliver exceptional guest experiences
  • Partner with Revenue Management, Engineering, and Food & Beverage to ensure cohesive operations and strategic alignment
  • Monitor and enhance guest service programs (e.g., SALT) to drive satisfaction, loyalty, and service consistency
  • Analyze department financials, forecasts, labor, and productivity reports to ensure profitability and cost control
  • Recruit, mentor, and develop departmental leadership and build a culture of high performance, engagement, and accountability
  • Ensure full compliance with Hilton brand standards, safety regulations, and cleanliness protocols
  • Serve as Executive Committee member contributing to property-wide strategy and decision-making
