Sr Advanced Systems Engr (Finance)

Technically Lead, develop, and motivate engineering teams responsible for the System Design and development of Anthem Applications for Regional/Business Jet/General Aviation (BRGA) programs. You will be responsible for defining, executing the technical content by working with systems engineering team and customers. You will participate in all phases of program development and drive high impact growth projects.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Requirements analysis, authoring various systems artifacts, participate in Systems development activities and analysis in an area of all aircraft sub-systems
  • Systems validation & verification- Prepare detailed test plans, provide test coverage, analyze test data and report test results.
  • Definition and planning of system development & sub-systems and components breakdown.
  • Strong knowledge of Anthem architecture, Anthem processes and tools
  • Performing functional hazard assessment, system safety assessment, common cause analyses.
  • Support execution of Systems Validation and Verification execution on target bench and creation of associated reports.
  • Work closely with Lead Systems Engineer to translate OEM Technical requirements(TRD) into effective systems design and requirements
  • Lead or support the development and implementation of MBSE solutions.
  • Ensure model compliance with customer-approved style guides and internal development plans
As a Sr Advanced Systems Engr here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for defining, executing the technical content by working with systems engineering team and customers. You will participate in all phases of program development and drive high impact growth projects. You will shape technological advancements and manage project portfolios. You will report directly to our Sr Systems Engineering Manager, and you'll work out of our Phoenix, AZ location on a Hybrid work schedule.YOU MUST HAVE:
  • Bachelors Degreen in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Sciences or Electronic Engineering Technology
  • Minimum 15+ years of experience working various application areas supporting avionics functions
  • Must be a US Person
  • Expertise working with Aerospace standards, Systems Architecture principles, ARP4754A and familiarity with DO178B/C.

  • Advanced Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Sciences
  • Experience working in systems definition, requirements capture, systems test procedures and reviews.
  • Working experience and Knowledge of Displays Product lines is preferred.
  • Proven Systems engineering expertise demonstrated on programs.
  • Possess good understanding of business objectives and more importantly the ability to interact with our customers (internal and external).
  • Able to identify and manage risks and opportunities with demonstrated capability to manage multiple projects
  • Good communicator of vision, ideas and work requirement. Should have demonstrated transformational results (Innovation, Productivity, Technology) through cross collaboration
