Summary: Moore Digital Print and Mail Center is currently seeking a Data Programmer for its Topeka Kansas location. This role is responsible for all aspects of data processing workflow management.

Specifically, Moore Digital Print and Mail Center provides end-to-end services for printing and direct mail production. Our services include envelope manufacturing, conventional and digital printing, complex camera matching, card affixing, handwork, lettershop, commingling, and more.
Your Impact: • Read and follow complex job processing instructions. • Plan and execute data processing workflows. • Receive, analyze, and manipulate data using third-party and in-house software. • Work with data in a variety of formats including Access, Excel, comma-delimited, xml and fixed length. • Write scripts using C++ syntax to perform data transformations. • Create digital layouts for variable data printing in Quadient Inspire Designer. • Prepare files for output to a wide range of printing devices. • Perform quality assurance checks for all work. • Collaborate with the customer service team and production staff. • Serve as technical support for all projects worked on. • Stay current with regulations pertaining to the printing and mailing industry. • Maintain the confidentiality and security of Moore systems and client data. • Receive regular information security training. • Work onsite at our Topeka Kansas location.
Your Profile: • Working knowledge of Microsoft Access, Word, Excel and Adobe Acrobat. • Proficiency working in a Microsoft Windows environment. • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. • Strong analytical skills. • Excellent organizational and detail-oriented skills. • Intrinsically motivated and have a strong commitment to quality. • Ability to plan and prioritize projects. • Ability to work alone as well as in a team environment. • Experience with VB.Net, C# or C++. • Experience with BCC Software, Anchor Software or Quadient Inspire is a plus. • 2+ years of education or experience in an IT related field.
Hours are Monday - Friday, 7:00AM - 4:00PM. Must be available to work overtime as needed. On the job training will be provided to teach key mailing industry concepts.
