Nuclear Consulting Analyst - Security - Comanche Peak (Security)

Job Summary

This position specializes in Security policy, procedure, and instructions' generation, modification, and cancelation in accordance with the Vistra Document Control program. This process also includes the self-assessment and regulatory compliance validation of all paperwork and procedure implementation by the Security Organization as part of the Safety/Security Interface at Comanche Peak Nuclear Power Plant.

Job Description

Key Accountabilities:

  • Performs the Procedure Impact Evaluation of all requested changes to Security Policies, Procedures, and Instructions within ESPOC.

  • Performs analysis and evaluation of the implementation of Security Policies, Procedures, and Instructions against USNRC Inspection Procedures for Compliance.

  • Conducts the evaluation and report generation of the Security System Performance Data as required by Regulation.

  • Assist in the evaluation of industry change proposals of Regulations and guidelines to determine impact to security activities, programs and processes.

  • Maintains the implementation of Operating Experience (OE) and Benchmarking program for the Security Organization.

  • Prepare materials and conduct training on Tampering/Sabotage and Security Conditions.

  • Provides supplemental duties as the Security Corrective Action Program and Work Planning SME.

Education, Experience & Skill Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in technical discipline or 10 years equivalented related nuclear security or planning expertise.
  • 2 years' procedure development in related field.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Suite.
  • Technical expertise within assigned discipline.
  • Understanding of regulations, codes, standards, policies and procedures pertinent to nuclear security.
