Communications Specialist (Creative Design)

Sierra7 is hiring a Communications Specialist to join our team and work with the VetSmile Program Support Services team for the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). In this position, the Communications Specialist would serve as the first line of communications from participating sites, Veterans, and other stakeholders, develop and maintain project artifacts and materials, guide orientation activities for new sites for program implementation, and collaborate with key stakeholders.

Position responsibilities:
Develop and maintain tailored onboarding, outreach, and training materials
Facilitate meetings with stakeholders and guide orientation activities for new sites
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify and implement solutionsIdentify, assess, and make recommendations for improvement within parameters of the pilot programMaintain Status Reports, Meeting Minutes, and Communications Development Coordination reportsManage stakeholder onboarding and identify key requirement and constraints to assist in decision-making processes and approvals for program implementationPresent communications and reporting materials to stakeholders, including CongressMaintain and organize VETSmile email account and reply to correspondence
