Education Abroad Recruiter Advisor (Finance)



The Recruiter Advisor position, reporting to the Assistant Director of Marketing and Recruitment for Education Abroad within the Global Learning Office, plays a key role in advancing study abroad recruitment strategies and goals. The role involves managing and executing recruitment efforts for programs within an assigned portfolio with the goal of converting leads to applications. Additionally, the employee represents the university and the Global Learning Office effectively at various recruitment events.This position requires a Bachelor's degree in an appropriate related field of study; or a High School diploma with a minimum of three years of directly related experience. In a specialized academic area, this position may require or prefer a degree in that field of study. Appropriate college coursework or vocational/technical training may substitute at an equivalent rate for the required experience.Working at USF

  • Communicate with prospective students through appointments, telephone, email, events and other materials. Presents program options and the benefit of studying abroad to students.
  • Follows up with student inquiries via phone and email to convert leads to applications.
  • Coordinates recruitment for study abroad programs in the assigned program portfolio (faculty-led, affiliate, direct enroll and exchange).
  • Foster and develop relationships with campus partners. Attends partner events.
  • Compile and analyze recruitment data in system(s).
  • Assist with the development of recruitment events as well as marketing and communication materials and including letters, brochures, website postings, electronic mail and other mediums.
