This role has been designed as 'Hybrid' with an expectation that you will work on average 2 days per week from an HPE office.

Job Description:

Global Operations prioritizes putting customers and partners first by developing the workforce of the future. This involves strategic, inclusive, and collaborative working culture. In a typical day as a Systems/Software Engr II, you would:

Be responsible to develop and support external facing EG licensing portals and also various associated internal tools, including managing it's hosting infrastructure. This involves closely coordinating with various internal and external stakeholders like regional Factories, regional Licensing Support teams, Software Supply Chain Business team, ODMs, 3rd party vendor, etc, frequently.

The scope of responsibility also includes ability to lead projects, contributing towards process improvements and troubleshooting.

Education and Experience Required:

• Extensive working experience in Java/J2EE domain (Spring framework, SpringBoot, Spring Security, Hibernate, SOAP and REST web services, JSP ...etc).
• Good familiarity and working experience in Web UI technologies like Javascript, ReactJS, AngularJS, etc.
• Good ability to design applications.
• Have a thorough knowledge on SDLC and working experience in all phases of project lifecycle.
• Great working experience in SQL and familiarity with any database (Eg. Oracle 11i, MS SQL Server...etc).
• It's essential to have working knowledge on Tomcat and/or Weblogic middleware.
• It's essential to have working knowledge in any Unix OS and Windows Server OS.
• Strong troubleshooting skills, including various debugging tools.
• Having working knowledge in multi-tier performance analysis and associated tools, is an added advantage.
• Strong knowledge in Cloud Technology is an added advantage.
• Ideation and innovation would be essential skills to possess.
• Ability to manage multiple priority tasks in parallel.
