EHS Coordinator - Enviornmental, Health, and Safety (Finance)
Summary
The EHS Coordinator (Environment, Health, and Safety) will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining environmental, health and safety programs and procedures to ensure compliance with OSHA standards and other regulatory requirements. The role involves conducting training on safety protocols, overseeing compliance, and ensuring the safe operation of power industrial equipment. This position will report to the EHS Manager.
Essential Functions

Develop, implement, and maintain safety policies and procedures in accordance with OSHA and other relevant regulatory requirements. Develops and delivers training programs that educate staff on environmental concerns and health and safety risks. Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify and mitigate potential hazards in the warehouse. Provide training to employees on safety procedures, OSHA compliance, and the operation of power industrial equipment. Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses; prepare reports and recommend corrective actions. Maintain records of safety inspections, incident reports, and training sessions. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and standards. Collaborate with the Warehouse Manager and other departments to promote a culture of safety. Conduct risk assessments and implement preventive measures. Monitor and ensure proper use and maintenance of personal protective equipment (PPE). Coordinate emergency response plans and conduct regular drills. Stay up-to-date with new safety laws and regulations, and communicate these changes to management and employees. Participate in all TVS SCS quality and excellence initiatives.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to sit or stand; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee may occasionally be required to lift 51 pounds, anything greater than 51 pounds requires assistance. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment
This job is performed in a busy warehouse environment with high forklift traffic. Warehouses are subject to seasonal temperatures. Steel-toed shoes and vests are required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
Full Time, Exempt. Schedule flexibility for extended or unplanned work hours is required.
Travel
Occasional travel between locations may be required.
Education and Experience
Bachelors degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field preferred. 3+ years of experience in a safety coordinator role, preferably in a warehouse or industrial setting. In-depth knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety standards. Experience with power industrial equipment training. Strong communication and training skills. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to analyze data and prepare detailed reports. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or similar certification preferred.
