Role description:

Arcadis seeks UXO Quality Control Specialists and UXO Safety Officers for various project sites across the United States and U.S. territories.

This is a general job posting and not tied to a specific current, open position. Candidates who submit their resumes to this posting may be considered for all future openings as they arise.

All candidates must meet the requirements in accordance with DDESB TP-18 (latest version) for the desired position(s).

Role accountabilities:

UXO Quality Control Specialist - Candidates must have significant experience in all phases of munitions response actions and/or range clearance activities.

  • Must be able to perform responsibilities of UXO TIII, TII, and TI.
  • Military EOD graduates must have 8 years of progressive EOD/UXO experience.
  • UXO TI course graduates must have 10 years of progressive UXO experience.
  • Additional training requirements include:
  • OSHA 8-hour Management and Supervisor Training Course
  • Quality professional training
  • Demonstrated understanding of QC and QA practices associated with MEC-related activities and managing/processing MPPEH, including documentation of its explosive's safety status.

UXO Safety Officer - Candidates must have significant experience in all phases of munitions response actions and/or range clearance activities.

  • 30-hour OSHA Construction Safety and Health Training
  • Demonstrated understanding of safety practices associated with MEC-related activities and managing/processing MPPEH, including documentation of its explosive's safety status.

Qualifications & Experience:

All qualified UXO candidates must have:

  • OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER certification, current 8-hour refresher, and OSHA physical.
  • ATF Possessor clearance.

We offer nine paid holidays and 15 days PTO that accrue per year. The salary range for this position is $42 hr. - $48 hr.

Actual salaries will vary and are based on several factors, such as experience, education, budget, internal equity, project and location.
