Customer Service Manager (Administrative)



Our Smithtown locationhas an immediate need for a FT Customer Service Manager. This individual will work closely with the Customer Service team to provide support and expertise in meeting customer needs and expectations. Our new hire will be responsible for the establishing and strengthening customer relationships with a focus on always providing exceptional customer support for client/customer issues. This position manage and support a team of Customer Service Representatives.

Responsibilities
Lead and coordinate the Customer Service team to ensure effective customer experienceEnsure effective customer contact to achieve excellent customer satisfactionDevelop the skills and capabilities of the Customer Service teamEnsure continuous improvement of processes and policies to improve customer experience and department efficiencyEnsure accurate and timely order processing of internal transactions and customer transactionInterface with various teams and departments across Uncle Giuseppes corporate and store level platformsAnalyze reports and department KPI's for trendsOther duties and functions as assigned

Requirements
HS Diploma or equivalentA minimum of 4 years of working experience in a Customer Service Department in a retail customer facing settingService and detail orientatedAbility to lead, motivate and develop their team and individual employeesDecision making and problem solving skillsFocused in continuous improvementMust have good communication across all levels and functionsMust be able to speak, read and understand the English languageLogical, self-motivated, energetic, skillful at handling multi-tasks, quick learner who can work in a very fast paced environment

Working Conditions
Most of the time is spent moving about continuously on hard surfaces. There may be a need to frequently position oneself to examine and/or scan merchandise, including bending, climbing, crawling, handling, pulling, reaching, and stooping.May require lifting objects up to 30 pounds. May require lifting and moving heavy and/or awkward objects more than 30 pounds with assistance.Usually in a comfortable indoor environment surrounded by moving machinery and/or loud equipment that may require shouting in order to be heard. There could be exposure to temperature extremes from freezers, ovens, and/or coolers.There may be occasional exposure to cleaning agents, sharp objects/industrial equipment necessary to perform job duties and functions.
