Building Automation Project Manager (Finance)



For this U.S. based position, the expected compensation range is $115,000 - $130,000 per year, which includes base pay and short-term incentive.

The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States. Our salary ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the salary range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Building Automation Project Manager - New York City & Long Island

In this role, you'll be at the forefront of delivering innovative building automation solutions. As the Project Manager, you will be responsible for driving project success from inception to completion-collaborating closely with the Project Executive, Project Sponsor, and cross-functional teams to define goals, develop strategic plans, and ensure flawless execution.
You'll thrive in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment, managing multiple small to mid-sized projects simultaneously. These projects often have quick turnaround times and may be executed through construction partners or directly with end users.
We're looking for a proactive leader with strong communication skills, technical acumen, and the ability to navigate complex, and sometimes geographically dispersed, project environments. Key Responsibilities:

- Define project objectives and develop detailed execution plans in collaboration with the Project Executive and Project Sponsor
- Lead and manage multiple small to medium-sized building automation projects simultaneously
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget
- Coordinate with internal teams, subcontractors, and clients to ensure alignment and smooth execution
- Navigate both construction-tier and direct-to-end-user project pathways
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies
- Maintain strong communication across all levels of the project environment
- Adapt to dynamic and geographically dispersed project conditions
- Uphold Schneider Electric's standards for quality, safety, and customer satisfaction

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline (Engineering, Building Automation, or related field)
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant project management experience in building automation or a related industry
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Strong understanding of HVAC systems, Building Automation Systems (BAS), and electronic control technologies
- Familiarity with ISO standards and compliance requirements
- Working knowledge of network infrastructure and communication protocols
- Ability to read and interpret control system drawings and schematics
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and professional scheduling tools (e.g., MS Project)
