Senior Systems Administrator (Project Management)



SUMMARY
The Senior System Administrator is responsible for installation, configuration, operation & maintenance of system hardware & software to insure continued operation of the bank's computer network.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Configure maintain and insure proper continued operation of the Active Directory network. Including user setup and maintenance, security and distribution groups, AppLocker and Group Policy
Maintaining and insuring continued operation of the network and servers
Ensuring the proper monitoring of Network System and taking appropriate action as needed
Assist in the maintenance of the SAN and the Data Centers
Assist with the support of the VMWare environment
Administer and manage Microsoft Exchange
Build and maintain physical and virtual servers
Manages daily backup jobs to ensure all critical date is backed up
Recommend hardware and software purchases
Develop and maintain installation and configuration procedures
Assist in IS Help Desk operation as the appropriate level of expertise is required
Assist in maintaining inventory
Provide after hour support to the end user
Understand and support all BSA/AML responsibilities as applicable to the position as well as consistently, accurately, and timely carry out these responsibilities in compliance with the Bank's internal policies
Performs additional tasks within the IT Department as requested

Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree from a four-year college/university; or three years' related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
