Regional Manufacturing Engineer (Engineering)

We are seeking a Regional Manufacturing Engineer for our customer, County Materials.

Responsibilities:
Conduct detailed analyses of manufacturing processes to identify areas for optimization and standardization.Work collaboratively with local plant operations and QC teams to understand current workflows, equipment utilization, and operational challenges.Develop and implement standardized operating procedures (SOPs), visual aids, and training materials to improve operator efficiency and equipment utilization.Provide technical support for new plant startups, including equipment layout validation, SOP development, and troubleshooting guides.Benchmark regional processes, identify best practices, and facilitate knowledge sharing among facilities.Lead or participate in cross-functional teams for projects involving automation, process improvement, and capital equipment installation.Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations documenting findings, recommendations, and results of improvement initiatives.
Qualifications & Skills Required:
Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret process data and implement practical solutions.Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and Microsoft Office Suite.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to effectively interact across all levels of the organization.Demonstrated ability to manage projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and continuous improvement.Willingness to travel to regional facilities as required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior internship or co-op experience in manufacturing or industrial settings.Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar continuous improvement methodologies.Experience developing or enhancing SOPs and process documentation.
