Rate: $55,000 - 63,000based on education, experience, and program.
Full Time - 40 hours/week
The YMCA of Central Ohio is seeking a dedicated Registered Dietitian or Nutritionist to join our Head Start team. In this role, you will be responsible for promoting the health and well-being of children and families by providing expert nutritional guidance and care. You will work closely with the Head Start management team to plan and implement nutrition services, coordinate events, and support staff. The ideal candidate will stay current on nutrition trends and community initiatives, ensuring that all services are individualized and responsive to the unique needs of children, families, and staff. Qualifications/Requirements:
Registered and Licensed Dietitian (RD/RDN, LD) with experience in public health, nursing, health education or related field; knowledge of Child and Adult Care Food Program regulationsExhibit strong collaborative skillsEager to embrace a model of service delivery based on harm reduction, trauma informed care and client choiceDetail oriented with excellent time management, organizational, written, verbal, and computer skillsKnowledge of thehealth and nutrition servicesavailable through Franklin County, the State of Ohio, and local agencies.
