  • 3-6 years of Outside Sales experience, door industry preferred
  • High school diploma/GED required.
  • College experience preferred
  • Remote work is possible with WDSS or commercial estimating experience.

Responsibilities:
  • Sells commercial products to contractors, stores, showrooms, or customers' place of business.
  • Call on purchasing agents and/or superintendents of existing and potential contractors.
  • Travels throughout assigned territory to call on regular and prospective commercial customers to solicit orders or talk with customers on sales floor or by phone.
  • Displays or demonstrates commercial products, using samples and/or brochures, and emphasizes selling features.
  • Quotes prices and credit terms and prepares sales contracts for commercial orders obtained.
  • Maintains the quote log and other sales activity reporting as required
  • Reads blueprints/scopes of work to quote jobs.
  • Estimates delivery date to customer, based on knowledge of production and delivery schedules.
  • Assist in collecting monies due from customers who have exceeded their credit terms.
  • Performs on-site inspections of jobs scheduled (pre-site inspection) before the installation date, during work, and follow-up.
  • Participate in trade shows.
