Sr. Engineer RPA (Architecture)



Position Title: Sr. Engineer RPA

Role:

The Sr. Engineer RPA works closely across all lines-of-business (LoB) to lead solution discussions, provide technical leadership on a Scrum team by identifying best-fit automation solutions for projects across the CoA, and leads end-to-end user/business partner experience through the entire lifecycle of solution.

Responsibilities:

  • Serves as the technical design and development lead for UiPath solutions for various RPA user engagements and provides support for CoA RPA tools and infrastructure.
  • Leads a team of RPA Developers on high profile and complex automation projects to ensure quality and timely delivery of projects by working closely with the development team and project managers.
  • Collaborates with process subject matter experts (SME's) to understand key process requirements and document the current state by leveraging existing documentation, conducting interviews and observations.
  • Advises on high-level, complex solution development, architecture, and manages processes from concept ideation through development, launch and maintenance.
  • Acts as the technical lead for a Scrum team delivering complex projects and provides input into strategic vision and technical decisions.
  • Drives continual process improvements and innovation.
  • Guides program managers to track potential risks that could impact project delivery.
  • Operates with considerable latitude to resolve situations that may not have previous precedent.
  • May assist with vendor analysis and selection, when needed.
  • Provides mentorship to technical resources to develop proof of concept projects for the introduction of changes to architecture or new technologies.

Education/Certifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, or related field.

Experience/Minimum Requirements:

  • Eight (8) years' experience with providing software engineering support and expertise, contributing to the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability, scalability, and security) of new and current systems.
  • Five (5) years' experience (within the 8) with programming (C#, VB.NET, Java), working with the design, administration, programming and support of an enterprise RPA environment using the UiPath platform.
  • Experience with RPA software capabilities used for automation and with business process re-engineering and process mapping.
  • Experience with developing solution designs, infrastructure design, ERP, CRM, Network, Security and programming.
  • Experience with source control tools (e.g. GitHub, TFS, SVN) as well as with On-Prem and Cloud deployment of RPA solutions.
  • Experience with presenting and explaining technical information to diverse audiences.
  • Experience with SQL coding skills: SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL.

Special Requirement:

  • UiPath certification required.

Working Conditions: This is a fully remote role with telecommuting benefits.

Additional Information: Pursuant to the Los Angeles County and San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance, we will consider for employment qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records.

The salary range offered for this position is $149,947-$169,000 annually. A candidate's offer is determined by various factors including but not limited to, depth of experience, role-related knowledge and skills, relevant education or training, internal alignment, and work location.  Depending on the position offered, the compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of a discretionary annual cash bonus or commissions, and equity incentives. Employees (and their families) are eligible for medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are able to enroll in our company's 401k plan. Employees will also receive a minimum of 18 days of paid time off each year and 12 paid holidays throughout the calendar year.
