Janitor II Floater (Maintenance)



Position Summary
Provides janitorial/housekeeping services at multiple locations on a daily and weekly basis as specified by individual contract requirements.
Essential Duties(Other duties within the scope of this position may be assigned.)
Responsible for working at multiple buildings with unique standards and unique scope of work.

2. Serves as a liaison for client interaction to maintain a high level of satisfaction.

3. Maintains a clean environment by performing daily and scheduled tasks as required by the contract.

4. Tasks include but are not limited to: dusting, vacuuming, restroom cleaning, emptying trash and replacing can liner, sweeping, dust mopping, wet mopping and glass cleaning.

5. Monitors the use of supplies and request additional supplies as needed.
Supervisory Responsibilities
The associate in this position does not have any supervisory responsibilities.
Education/Experience/Certificates/Security Clearance
High School Diploma / GED not required. 1 year experience in a related field required. No professional certifications are required for this position. Valid state driver's license, insurance and satisfactory driving record are required. Must be able to obtain and maintain a favorable adjudication on a government background investigation prior to start date. May be required to obtain and maintain a federal security clearance and sex offender check. No computer skills are required.

This associate may have access to Confidential Information (CI) and is required to be familiar with the Goodwill Privacy policy 10.23 related to the handling of CI, and follow all related procedures required to protect the privacy and security of CI.
Physical Demands/Work Environment/Work Conditions
The associate is required to lift 20 pounds maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying objects weighing up to 10 pounds. Job requires walking or standing to a significant degree, with a degree of pushing and pulling. The associate works in a general office environment and is infrequently exposed to extreme atmospheric conditions (temperature, noise, fumes, dust, etc.). The associate may be required to provide assistance with snow removal. The associate must be available to work evenings and/or weekends as business needs dictate. Occasional travel within the Goodwill service territory may be required.
