Senior Actuarial Programming Associate (Administrative)

Come join our team where you will:
•    Optimize database performance, including analyzing complex queries as well as database architecture 
•    Contribute to the design, development, testing, and maintenance of actuarial systems computer programming
•    Participate on project teams providing analytical and technical assistance in the development, support, and maintenance of actuarial software 
•    Test new and revised hardware/software 
•    Help create and review user documentation 
•    Aid in problem-solving and troubleshooting day-to-day issues including diagnosis and resolution of end-users' software problems 
•    Review documentation for Actuarial Developer code

The Senior Actuarial Programming Associate (“Senior Associate”) performs as an integral member of a project team, working closely with other team members to assist with the development and maintenance of actuarial programming solutions for our internal actuarial and technical clients. The Senior Associate effectively assists with the development and maintenance of actuarial programming systems and services and supports revenue growth initiatives. The Senior Associate is adept at juggling multiple projects and collaborating with the team and actuarial and technical colleagues. 

•    Demonstrated proficiency with SQL Server databases, including writing static and dynamic queries and stored procedures
•    Knowledge of advanced database optimization techniques such as fragmentation, statistics, and parameter sniffing a plus
•    Demonstrated proficiency with object-oriented programming languages, preferably including C#, C++, or similar programming languages
•    Experience with front-end frameworks, such as Angular (Typescript, HTML, and CSS)
•    Bachelor's Degree in Math, Computer Science, Actuarial Science, or a related field. 
•    Familiarity with Actuarial principles is a plus
•    Superior organizational skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment 
•    Extremely high level of attention to detail with proven facility with quantitative analysis 
•    Demonstrated superior written communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively as well as independently

The current salary range for this position is $72,000 to $90,000 plus opportunity for a discretionary performance bonus based on company profitability and employee performance.
