Warehouse Associate (Information Technology)
POSITION SUMMARY
This is an on-site position in North Kingstown, RI.
This position is eligible for the Americas referral program for external candidates: Tier 1 - $2500 Referral Bonus.
Thales DIS is looking for a Warehouse Associate to join our Manufacturing team in North Kingstown, RI. The Warehouse Associate will work independently and be responsible for directing / organization of the warehouse on a day-to-day work plan.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for the daily scheduling of the warehouse in order to receive, ship, and destroy products at the facility in a productive manner.
Direct the day-to-day activities of the warehouse. Such activities include shipping, receiving, destruction, sanitation, maintenance, inventory control, etc...
Keep accurate inventory in JAAMS.
Direct the inventory control as to out of stocks, receiving errors, selection errors, and warehouse slotting of products.
Generate warehouse productivity reports in regards to Gemalto generic supplies.
Coordinate with external recycling company to ensure items flagged for destruction are properly taken care of.
Maintain warehouse equipment, providing both preventive maintenance programs and all necessary repairs. Ensure that the personnel have safe, efficient equipment in order to perform the distribution function.
Maintain warehouse safety program in order to provide a safe and clean workplace for employees and within the regulations of all OSHA local and state regulations. This may include coordinating with the site security manager and/or the facility manager.
Responsible for ordering supplies which are necessary to perform any related responsibilities.
Research the daily work load and support hand fulfillment and auto insertion by providing collaterals for abnormally large files
Assist front office with supplies when necessary
Assist with organization of BINs in hand fulfillment
Assist with organization of carriers in Production
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
High School Degree or equivalent
1-2 years' experience in a company with the responsibilities of producing, purchasing, inventory control, production control, as well as shipping, receiving and warehousing.
Strong analytical, numerical, and reasoning abilities.
Participative management type – advocates team concepts.
Well-developed interpersonal skills.
Ability to get along with diverse personalities.
Tactful and mature. Ability to establish credibility and be decisive – but able to recognize and support the organization's preferences and priorities.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Excellent people skills, attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills, written and verbal skills required.
Basic math skills required. Intermediate computer skills also needed.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Results oriented with the ability to balance other business considerations.

The reference Total Target Compensation(TTC) market range for this position, inclusive of annual base salary and the variable compensation target, is between
Total Target Cash (TTC): 31,668.00 - 42,224.00 - 56,576.00 USD AnnualThis reflects how companies in a similar industry and geographic region generally pay for similar jobs. This range helps the Company make pay decisions as one data point among many. Where a position falls within this range is also dependent on other factors including – but not limited to – the employee's career path history, competencies, skills and performance, as well as the company's annual salary budget, the customer's program requirements, and the company's internal equity.
