Project Manager – Postal & Parcel Services (Finance)



As a Project Manager-Postal & Parcel Services at Honeywell, you will be integral to the coordination and support of various programs within the Business Solutions unit. Your responsibilities will include implementing program plans, managing budgets and schedules, and executing a programmatic Management Operating System (MOS) for forecasting support and capacity analysis related to delivery requirements.

You will contribute significantly to Honeywell's processes and strategies aimed at achieving business performance goals. In this role, you will support business leaders by presenting detailed programmatic information, including requirements, actions, and status updates. Additionally, you will demonstrate strong project management skills, including risk management.

The Project Manager-Postal & Parcel Services focuses on managing commercial and industrial construction projects that use Honeywell building technology products.

Working under the moderate supervision of the Sr Program Manager, you will be responsible for executing tasks related to scope, schedule, cost, delivery, earned value, and quality.

This role will work on a Hybrid work schedule out of the Mason, OH site (7901 Innovation Way, Mason, OH) Note: For the first 90 days, New Hires must be prepared to work 100% onsite M-F.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage a portfolio of projects concurrently
  • Coordinate Cost Acct Managers
  • Implement program plans
  • Understand budget/schedule
  • Adhere to Honeywell's processes
  • Utilize Cora PPM (Honeywell Operating System for records management)
  • Accurately forecast financially the work activities planned on each project and to drive working capital
  • Drive work activities to maintain project schedules; engineering submittals, procurement, site works (subcontract or technician)
  • Collaborate with Functions
  • Coordinate & provide guidance
  • Support capacity analysis
  • Assure timely management
  • Present programmatic details
  • Travel: up to 50%

  • 3+ years of Material Handling industry automation
  • High School diploma or GED
  • Effective project management and execution skills
  • Experience working in a matrixed project organization

WE VALUE
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Business, Finance, or related discipline
  • Postal & Parcel experience
  • PMP (Program Management Plan) certification
  • Supply chain management experience
  • Material Handling industry automation or adjacent industry automation experience
  • Expertise with Microsoft Office including Excel, Access and SharePoint
  • Knowledge of IT and financial systems preferred (Sales Force, SAP, etc.)
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, particularly in cross-functional collaboration, facilitation, and negotiation
  • Ability to work on multiple projects and effectively manage priorities
  • Improving performance, meeting commitments, and getting results
