Summary:

The Accounts Payable Supervisor oversees the activities and operations in the Accounts Payable (AP) function for the organization. Analyzes invoices and expense reports for accuracy and eligibility for payment. Ensures timely payments of vendor invoices and expense vouchers. Maintains accurate financial records and control reports. Provides leadership to the Account Payable team. Assists with the administration of the AP Accounting System and Imaging Approval Process System.

What you'll be contributing:

  • Promote and follow all plant safety guidelines.
  • Analyzes and codes invoices and handles the expense report process
  • Handles the AP payment process
  • Provides AP assistance and support to the plants, sales offices, terminals, and corporate personnel
  • Oversees the 1099 Year End Process and W9 Process
  • Analyzes monthly accounts, accruals, and debt statements
  • Handles maintenance of the Credit Card Payment Program
  • Sets up vendors and employees with banking information for ACH payment, while adhering to CRH policies and procedures
  • Assists other departments with various tasks
  • Additional duties as assigned by the supervisor

To succeed in this position, you will need:

  • Ability to read, write, and understand warning labels, instructions, signs, etc.
  • Minimum Associates Degree
  • Bacehlors Degree preferred
  • Minimum 4 Years of Experience in general office work or supervising in accounts payable, finance, or payroll.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) or similar processing software
  • Proficiency in accounting software
  • Knowledge of accounting principles
  • Ability to build and lead a team
  • Ability to perform, organize, and prioritize work independently
  • Ability to maintain records and prepare reports
