Program Research Scientist (Finance)

The Nguyen Lab is seeking a highly motivated, enthusiastic, hardworking, detail-oriented, and collaborative research scientist who can efficiently work both
independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced research to join our team and contribute to cutting-edge investigations into the mechanisms of cardiomyocyte
cell cycle regulation in mammals. We are looking for a candidate with extensive expertise in cardiovascular research and advanced molecular biology techniques.
The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in establishing and managing laboratory research operations, mentoring and supporting lab members on ongoing
projects, and independently leading innovative research initiatives.This position requires a Master's degree in a natural, physical or medical science with 5+ years of experience.The University of South Florida is a high-impact global research university dedicated to student success. Leading research projects as directed by the Principal Investigator
Designing and conducting experiments, as well as performing data analysis
Preparing figures and visual materials for research presentations and publications
Contributing to manuscript and grant writing to support the laboratory's research goals
Overseeing and maintaining laboratory operations, including surgical procedures and technical protocols
Providing training and mentorship to laboratory staff and trainees
