Project Management Specialist II (Finance)



As a Project Management Specialist II here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in guiding and managing projects within the Aerospace Technologies (AT) business unit. You will be accountable for overseeing project activities, ensuring the successful delivery of projects, and providing guidance to project management professionals. Your strong guiding skills, technical expertise, and ability to drive results will be essential in delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of stakeholders.

You will report directly to our Sr Project Manager, and you'll work out of our Aguadilla, Puerto Rico location.

Use your project and organizational skills to be responsible for management of various business projects that drive revenue, increase productivity and improve processes. These projects span across multiple areas and businesses. You will be in a visible position and will require direct interaction with peers and leaders across all these groups. Your projects will vary depending on the organization being supported and therefore requires vast knowledge across various business practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage Capital portfolio between $5M-$10M
  • Ensure projects are meeting cost, schedule, & scope
  • Drive Capital compliance per Honeywell Accounting Policies
  • Drive Capital Status meetings
  • Maintain project meeting minutes
  • Report portfolio progress to key stakeholders
  • Drive project closures and on-time Capitalizations
  • Ensure proper flow of paperwork
  • Work cross functionally with PP&C, Procurement, and Project Leads
  • Support AOP and STRAP Planning

Travel, up to 10%, may be expected.

  • 1+ years of knowledge financial systems (SAP)
  • Ability to write, read and speak English
