The Department of Orthopedics and Advanced Practice Nursing is seeking an APRN to our Orthopaedic APP team in Wilmington Delaware.
Key Responsibilities
Responsible for collaborative medical management and orthopedic surgical care of pediatric patients.
Responsible for communicating with families and coordinating care across multiple specialties for both the hospital and outpatient setting.
Practices collaboratively with physicians and other health care providers to provide high quality health care to children.
Performs ongoing assessment and evaluation of patient progress and revision of interdisciplinary plan of care.
May use prescriptive authority if appropriately credentialed to do so.
Identifies patient/family need for further resources and initiates appropriate referrals.
Evaluates compliance with the prescribed treatment regimen through telephone calls, family/patient assessments and outpatient visits as needed.

Qualifications
MSN required
Three years of related clinical experience preferred
Active Delaware (or compact state) Registered Nurse Licensure required
Active Delaware Advanced Practice Nurse Licensure, with prescriptive authority required
Delaware Controlled Substance Registration (CSR)
Federal DEA registration with Delaware Address
Current AHA Healthcare Provider (HCP) Certification required
Pennsylvania Advanced Practice Nurse Licensure, with prescriptive authority required within 6 months of hire
Current Pediatric Acute Care APRN Certification
