Vendor Coordinator (Finance)



This Vendor Coordinator role is part of Equifax's Court Research Operations, managing all vendor relationships across the United States to obtain local court records for our background screening products. As an owner of the vendor relationships, the Vendor Coordinator wears many hats and is expected to independently solve for a wide range of vendor-related business needs.

What you'll do

  • Identify new vendor opportunities to optimize expenses, turnaround times, and work quality
  • (Re-) Negotiate vendor deals
  • Monitor vendor performance and engage in corrective vendor action as needed
  • Screen and onboard new vendors
  • Purchase Order Management to guarantee timely payment of vendor invoices
  • Resolve vendor-related issues in close cooperation with Operations, Client Management, Accounting, and other stakeholders
  • Project work as assigned to improve overall business outcomes

What experience you need

  • Bachelors degree preferred or equivalent experience
  • Ability to independently find and implement workable solutions to operational challenges
  • Must be comfortable to communicate (incl. calls and video conferences) with vendors to: negotiate pricing and fulfillment terms, work through challenges, engage in corrective vendor action or vendor termination.
  • Ability to manage Purchase Orders in an organized and detail-oriented way to ensure timely payment by Accounting
