Clinical Radiologic Technologist I / II / III - Katy Orthopedics (Finance)

Position Summary:

Produces radiographs of various portions of the body according to physician's request.

Position Key Accountabilities:

Essential Functions

  • Develops radiographs using an automatic processor and checks for desired results.
  • Prepares patients films for interpretation by radiologist.
  • Maintains quality assurance on all radiological equipment.
  • Prepares patient for radiographic procedures.
  • Assists in the accurate timing and positioning techniques.
  • Maintains and files radiology procedure paperwork.
  • Maintains inventory supplies, coordinates student/patient room assignments in clinic.
  • Must be able to respond to emergency situations. Other duties as assigned.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Certification/Skills:

  • Licensed Radiologic Technologist as a Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT) by the Texas Medical Board required
  • ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) required

Minimum Education:
Graduate from an approved two year program in Radiologic technology required
Minimum Experience:
None
Physical Requirements:
Exerts up to 100 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 50 pounds frequently and/or up to 20 pounds constantly to move objects.
