Solar Installer (Construction)
Baker Home Energy is looking for residential solar Installers in the San Diego market area. As a residential solar Installer you will be a vital part of our installation team and the entire profitability of the company. In this role, you'll be involved in working in a team environment to install residential solar on customers' homes. As a union (I.B.E.W.) electrical contractor, we can offer you consistent work with overtime, affordable healthcare benefits, and a pension.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Ensure accurate and timely PV installations
• Inverter, module, and conduit installation
• Perform trenching, ground and roof mounts
• Complete system start-up and diagnosis
• Depending on experience, lead and mentor crews
EDUCATION, SKILL, EXPERIENCE OF SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATES:
• 2-8 years of combined experience as a Solar Installer and/or Electrician
• Reliable Transportation
• Able to work overtime and weekends when needed
• Attention to detail and safety
• Ability to work in a warehouse/rooftop environment
• Ability to work in outdoor weather conditions
• This position will be required to pass a background check and drug test upon receiving a job offer
Pay Transparency: The hourly rate for this position is based on the local I.B.E.W. union rates. Other benefits may apply. For those not already part of the I.B.E.W union, we will facilitate joining.
