Director, HCP Promotion Lead (Finance)



Overview
The Director, HCP Promotion Lead will be responsible for the development of personal and non-personal HCP promotional strategies and initiatives to support a new, first-in-class pharmaceutical product for COVID-19. While working cross-functionally and with internal and external partners, this role will be accountable for successful launch uptake with HCPs. The role will also be responsible for continued refinement of HCP strategy and messaging based on customer insights, analytics, and new clinical data. The ideal candidate will have an agile, innovative and growth mindset with the proven ability to analyze and create a superior end-to-end customer experience. The candidate should possess pre-launch/launch expertise in the primary care market, plus significant experience leading marketing initiatives and driving performance.
Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and successful execution of the HCP go-to-market plan based on HCP and Market understanding, and delivering key business objectives
  • Oversee the planning and execution of promotional campaigns, ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines and industry standards
  • Lead the development and successful execution of omnichannel HCP marketing initiatives based on analysis and deep understanding of customer data and various ecosystems (Veeva, third-party media, etc.)
  • Translate insights into strong marketing actions and business recommendations for demand generation and achieving revenue targets. Refine strategy and messaging based on customer insights and prevailing new clinical data
  • Monitor, analyze, and optimize marketing initiatives, budgets and promotional mix - addressing gaps in performance as part of an overall Commercial Excellence blueprint
  • Partner closely with Sales, Commercial/Field Operations, Market Access, Medical Affairs, and RC (Review Committee) teams to ensure timely and effective creation and deployment of tactics and overall brand messaging
  • Effectively manage overall HCP promotion budget, HCP agency-of-record, and other agency partners to ensure optimum development of programs and cost-effective use of resources

Minimum Job Requirements Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree; Advanced degree (MBA, MS, etc.) is a plus
  • Minimum eight (8) years of progressive and developmental experience in sales/marketing roles in the pharmaceutical industry, with at least three-to-five (3-5) years in HCP marketing
  • Pre-launch and launch experience required, and COVID-19 experience is a plus
  • Significant experience leading marketing initiatives and driving performance
  • Deep experience managing agencies-of-record and other partner vendors
  • Experience creating HCP marketing strategies in line with business goals, combined with a solid understanding of key area such as market research, strategic planning, pricing, reimbursement, and forecasting
  • Experience in championing promotional materials through legal, medical, and regulatory review processes
  • Specialty Focus: Primary care/urgent care experience highly preferred

  • Strong analytical, planning, and communication skills, with demonstrated ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong ability to drive performance with exceptional organizational, interpersonal communication skills and executive collaboration. In addition, possess the ability to lead and influence others, with and without authority
  • Deep understanding of omnichannel ecosystems (e.g., Veeva, IQVIA, etc.)
  • Ability to work with agility with an innovative and growth mindset
  • Has a positive "hands on" attitude, able to be flexible and agile, take ownership and be accountable

Other Requirements
  • Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required (up to 25%)
  • Highly proficient in MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, etc.)
  • Must live a commutable distance to our US Corporate Headquarters in Florham Park, NJ. Office presence required at least 3 days per week
