Director of Construction Services (Construction)

GPI seeks a Director of Construction Services in our Kentucky Branch. In this position, you will direct and manage all construction services for our Kentucky Branch, including staff recruitment, oversight of field staff and operations, project administration, business development, and participation in proposal writing and fee estimates. This position plays a crucial role in branch operations. It will provide the individual an excellent opportunity to grow the department and practice a wide range of professional skills working closely with clients, inspection staff, and Branch leadership.

Responsibilities:

Serve as a point of contact and maintain strong relationships with clients
Recruit, hire, and manage inspection staff
Review project documents to establish scope, staffing needs, and fees for inspection services
Negotiate agreements and fees with clients
Manage construction inspection operations
Provide support for inspection staff
Manage sub-consultants
Develop and approve monthly invoices
Assist with the development of department goals and budget
Assist in the development of new clients

Qualifications:

20+ years' experience working in the construction inspection industry
Professional Engineering License (required)
