Intern, German Translator (Finance)
Work as a member of the documentation team to perform functions such as translating descriptions from English to German.
Semester
- Ability to begin work this summer and into the 2025 - 2026 school year.
Must be pursuing, or have completed, an undergraduate degree in German, German translation, or a closely related field. A junior status or higher in college preferred.
Experience
- Prior experience in a manufacturing facility, research, or academic research setting is desirable but not necessary.
- Highly motivated, self-driven, and able to self-educate when necessary.
- Demonstrated creativity and problem solving.
- Ability to work independently and under others' direction.
- Attention to detail in both task execution and documentation.
- Experience with Microsoft Excel.
- Team player. Enjoys and works well with other people in a team environment.
- Effective oral and written communication skills in English.
- Dependable, positive attitude and good attendance.
- High ethics, integrity, honesty, patience.
- Translate descriptions from English to German, and other documents as required.
- Software training will be provided, as necessary.
- Other responsibilities as assigned.
