Your Role: Director, Supply Chain Orchestration

As Director, Supply Chain Orchestration, you will lead a global team of process owners and associates driving integrated business process support across Manufacturing Operations, Logistics, Warehousing, Intercompany, and Global Supply Chain Learning & Development (L&D). In this role, you'll be responsible for setting strategic direction, advancing SAP-enabled processes, and developing a strong, motivated technical organization that supports supply chain employees worldwide.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Lead Global Process Ownership: Set strategic direction and provide oversight for supply chain orchestration processes, ensuring consistency and compliance across Manufacturing Operations, Logistics, Warehousing, Intercompany flows, and affiliate networks worldwide. Establish milestones, track progress, and remove barriers to enable seamless global adoption.

  • Develop and Grow Talent: Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing global team of supply chain process experts. Foster cross-training to build flexibility, monitor performance against objectives, and ensure team members have the expertise and resources to deliver business-critical support.

  • Drive SAP Process Design and Optimization: Partner with enterprise transformation projects to design and improve supply chain processes using SAP modules (IM/WM, MO, TM, ICO, GTS). Ensure alignment with organizational structures and roles, oversee planning module changes, and communicate updates effectively to stakeholders.

  • Advance Supply Chain Learning & Development: Lead the Global Supply Chain L&D team to deliver a contemporary, efficient training strategy. Ensure high-quality training content, manage administration, and sustain a strong super-user network that supports ongoing education and capability building across the organization.

  • Strengthen Governance & Continuous Improvement: Define CORRS requirements and metrics for supply chain orchestration, maintain content for impacted modules, and support assessment programs. Network with internal and external stakeholders to identify best practices, integrate evolving industry standards, and drive ongoing improvements in Elanco's supply chain processes.

What You Need to Succeed (minimum qualifications):

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent level of experience)

  • Required Experience: A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in supply chain management, operations, or process leadership, including at least 5 years in people leadership roles

  • Top Skills: Demonstrated expertise in SAP supply chain modules and strong leadership/influence skills across functions and geographies

  • Advanced degree (MBA or Master's in Supply Chain/Operations)

  • Global leadership experience with diverse teams across multiple regions

  • Experience leading supply chain learning & development programs

  • Strong track record of driving adoption of complex system/process transformations

  • Active engagement in external supply chain forums and knowledge of evolving best practices

Additional Information:

  • Travel: Up to 20% annually

  • Location: Global Elanco Headquarters – Downtown Indianapolis, IN – Hybrid Work Environment
