IT Intern - Business Process Intern (Information Technology)



As an IT Intern at Wagner Equipment Company, you will have a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in understanding and documenting business processes across various functions and departments.

If selected for this role, you will obtain real-world experience in IT systems operations and business process analysis, exposure to cross-functional teams and enterprise-level systems. You will also receive mentorship from experienced IT professionals.

The IT Intern program will be 12 weeks in length and will report to the IT Development Manager.

Compensation: $16.00-18.00 per hour

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

· Collaborate with IT staff and business stakeholders to understand and document current business processes.

· Analyze workflows to identify inefficiencies, redundancies, and opportunities for improvement.

· Assist in the development and standardization of operating procedures.

· Create clear, concise, and user-friendly documentation including flowcharts, SOPs, and process maps.

· Support the implementation of process improvements and track progress.

 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

· High school diploma or GED.

· Currently pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Computer Science, Diesel Technology, or a related field.

· Strong problem-solving skills.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

· Familiarity with process mapping tools is a plus.

· Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

· Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
