Senior Maintenance Technician (Maintenance)



Position Summary:
The Senior Maintenance Technician is a leadership role responsible for overseeing and guiding maintenance technicians while ensuring high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency. This position involves troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining facility equipment, and implementing predictive and preventive maintenance systems. The Senior Maintenance Technician will conduct quality checks, mentor the team, and drive continuous improvement to support the site's business goals and objectives. This role is essential for maintaining equipment reliability and contributing to a productive work environment. Essential Responsibilities:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
  • Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, plumbing troubleshooting and repair of club facilities.
  • Supervise or work closely with other maintenance staff, ensuring proper completion of tasks
  • Maintain an inventory of tools, materials, and equipment needed for maintenance tasks
  • Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service
  • Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments
  • Schedule and oversee contractors or outside vendors for specialized repairs or maintenance
  • Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment and club facilities
  • Train and mentor junior maintenance staff or new hires
  • Perform a variety of plumbing maintenance, electrical and carpentry functions
  • Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties
  • Detect faulty operations, defective material and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision
  • Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas
  • Help with design, planning, and execution of maintenance-related projects
  • Assist in setting priorities for maintenance work, ensuring that urgent issues are addressed while also maintaining long-term infrastructure goals
  • Perform all other duties as assigned or needed
  • Ability to work on call and flexible hours

  • A High School Diploma, or G.E.D is required and Trade School Certificates are preferred.
  • 2 years work experience in the building maintenance industry.
