Vice President of Skilled Nursing Facility Operations-Mississippi Area (Project Management)

We're seeking the right candidate for the position of Vice President of Skilled Nursing Facility Operations in Mississippi. In this pivotal leadership role, you'll oversee the operations of our skilled nursing facilities, ensuring that each location delivers high-quality care efficiently and effectively. You will partner with executive leadership to implement strategic goals and operational policies that enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.


What You Bring to the Table

Essential Responsibilities:

Oversee the daily operations of skilled nursing facilities, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance operational efficiency and improve patient care.
Collaborate with departmental leaders to establish performance metrics and monitor progress toward goals.
Lead initiatives to enhance resident satisfaction and quality of life within all facilities.
Manage budgets and financial performance to optimize resource allocation and control costs.
Ensure staff recruitment, training, and retention efforts align with the organization's mission and values.
Represent CommCare Mississippi in community engagements and partnerships to promote health care services.


The Ideal Candidate

Previous experience in senior leadership roles within skilled nursing operations.
Strong understanding of Mississippi state and federal regulations governing skilled nursing facilities.
Proven track record of developing and implementing successful operational strategies.
Exceptional leadership and team management skills to foster a collaborative work environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with staff, residents, and stakeholders.
Demonstrated commitment to quality improvement and resident-centered care practices.
Highly organized with excellent attention to detail and documentation skills.


Other Qualifications

Holds a B.S. degree at minimum; higher degree preferred in Health Administration, Business Administration, Nursing, or a related field.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in healthcare operations, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within skilled nursing facilities.
Has not been excluded from participating in Medicare and Medicaid programs and maintains eligibility throughout employment.
